Coffee is a topic we like to discuss on this blog, from time to time. So when I saw this icon set I had to share it with you! Ah coffee, the thing we can’t do without in the morning, and that most of us would not dare do at night. It helps us think, we say, and makes us shake. It gives us headaches when we drink too much and headaches when we don’t have enough.

Good post on Jacob Cass’s blog about the difference between possessing artistic and technical skills and just owning the software tools. I know for myself that the abilities I have to use Adobe CS3, for instance, are limited and I’m proud of the things I can do. Recently I downloaded Blender 3D which is open source software for creating 3D worlds and I played around with it long enough to realize that it would take a while for me to create a nice 3D scene, say nothing of a movie. So … respect the tools, but even more, respect the skills!

MindMorsel has a new face and a new mission. Instead of being a viral ‘Think and Grow Rich’ machine, it’s now a blog to inspire your creativity whenever you need it.

Each link at the very top of the page are about a different area of design. It’s not comprehensive, and I might eventually add more. So if you have an area of interest, then you can always stay on top of it using one of those links. Each blog will feature posts about that subject, with really cool images that I find and link to.

The RSS feeds are also individual, and I have a comprehensive one if you want to subscribe to the entire website feed, in all categories.
